TOKYU HOTELS & RESORTS CO., LTD. (Tokyo Shibuya-ku, President & CEO: Takashi Takei) is pleased to announce the rebranding of the hotel "JAM Fukui Katsuyama TOKYU HOTEL & Resorts" bearing the company's "TOKYU RESORT HOTELS" brand in Katsuyama City, Fukui on April 1, 2026.

"JAM Fukui Katsuyama TOKYU HOTEL & Resorts" has been rebranded as the official hotel of "JAM Fukui Katsuyama Mountain Resort", a highland resort where you can enjoy nature throughout the four seasons. "JAM Fukui Katsuyama Mountain Resort" is a place where you can spend all day in nature, such as activities on the lush plateau during the green season, a barbecue area where you can enjoy empty-handed, and a shop with Fukui souvenirs and outdoor brand apparel, and in the winter season, the longest skiing distance is 5,800 meters. It is a year-round mountain resort where you can enjoy skiing to your heart's content at one of the largest ski resorts in western Japan, boasting a total of 16 courses.

The concept of the resort is "Journey to the Amazing Moment". The theme of the stay is nine "Amazing Moments".

The nine "Amazing Moments" were conceived and born as "unshakable pillars" to consistently convey the charm of JAM (Journey to the Amazing Moment). Snow, mountains, hot springs, starry skies, etc., the values that the staff always cherishes are identified one by one and classified as themes. The reason for setting it as nine is derived from the "Kuzuryu River" that flows through the center of Katsuyama City and continues to the Sea of Japan, which reflects the staff's desire to "value the connection with the community."

On April 1, 2026, "JAM Fukui Katsuyama TOKYU HOTEL & Resorts" was reborn from a previous members-only hotel to a hotel where many people can enjoy the charm of each season. The "JAM" in the hotel name is an abbreviation for "Journey to the Amazing Moment". On the same day, along with "JAM Fukui Katsuyama Mountain Resort", which was rebranded and renamed from "Ski Jam Katsuyama", while inheriting the name of "Jam", we aim to evolve into a hotel that is familiar to the community, becoming a major base for Okuetsu in Fukui tourism and a "communication base" for the Fukui brand, while inheriting the name of "Jam" that has been familiar to the community as an official hotel of a year-round mountain resort.
We will continue to connect with the region, nature, culture, and people, and provide more exciting experiences "JAM (Journey to the Amazing Moment)" while further collaborating with the local community.

Around the hotel, there are attractive contents such as "Eiheiji Temple", the central temple of the Soto sect, "Heisenji", one of the bases of Hakusan worship, and the "Fukui Standing Dinosaur Museum". In particular, the "Fukui Dinosaur Museum" is easily accessible from the hotel, about 10 minutes by car. Opened in 2000 due to the discovery of many dinosaur fossils in Katsuyama City, it is one of the largest geological and paleontological museums in Japan, focusing on dinosaurs, and is popular among elementary school students, and is said to be a tourist and cultural facility representing Fukui.
