Tokyu Corporation (Tokyo Shibuya Ward, President Masahiro Horie) and TOKYU HOTELS & RESORTS CO., LTD. (Tokyo Shibuya Ward, President Takashi Takei, hereinafter "TOKYU HOTELS") have terminated their fixed-term building lease contracts related to SAPPORO TOKYU REI HOTEL, We would like to inform you that the hotel will end its operations on August 31, 2027, with check-out and breakfast.

After the hotel closes its operations, it is scheduled to undergo renovation work and reopen as a hotel operated by Tokyu Resorts & Stay Co., Ltd. in 2028, but TOKYU HOTELS will continue to manage the banquet halls.
　
SAPPORO TOKYU REI HOTEL has been operating for over 45 years as Sapporo Tokyu Inn since its opening in June 1980 as a business and tourism hub in the Sapporo Susukino area, valuing its connections with the local community. We would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to all our customers and everyone involved who have supported us so far.

Tokyu and TOKYU HOTELS are currently developing hotels that will become 'travel destinations' that emphasize appealing to the global market and next-generation guests. In Sapporo, the lifestyle hotel 'SAPPORO STREAM HOTEL' (Sapporo STREAM HOTEL) opened in 2024. Going forward, including 'SAPPORO EXCEL HOTEL TOKYU', We will continue to operate hotels rooted in the Sapporo area, build a network of chain hotels with strong brand and profitability, and further strengthen our consolidated business portfolio.
