TOKYU HOTELS Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Tokyo Shibuya-ku, President & CEO: Jun Murai) is pleased to announce that due to the termination of the lease agreement, Tokyo Toranomon TOKYU REI HOTEL will be closed on March 31, 2023, and Akasaka EXCEL HOTEL TOKYU will be closed on August 31, 2023.

Tokyo Toranomon TOKYU REI HOTEL has been open as "Atagoyama Tokyu Inn" in March 1976 for 46 years, and Akasaka EXCEL HOTEL TOKYU has been open as "Akasaka TOKYU HOTEL" in September 1969 for 53 years, as a base for business and tourism in the Shimbashi, Toranomon and Akasaka areas, respectively, as a place for gathering and relaxation. We have continued to operate while valuing connections with the community.

In addition, TOKYU HOTELS opened Yonezawa EXCEL HOTEL TOKYU (franchise agreement) in April this year and THE HOTEL HIGASHIYAMA BY KYOTO TOKYU HOTEL in July.
In addition, we plan to open KICHIJOJI EXCEL HOTEL TOKYU on October 28 this year, BELLUSTAR TOKYO (Bell Star Tokyo) and HOTEL GROOVE SHINJUKU (Hotel Groove Shinjuku) in Shinjuku, Tokyo in the spring of 2023, and a new large hotel at the entrance of Sapporo Susukino in the fall of the same year.
We will continue to actively promote the opening of stores that will serve as "travel destinations" that appeal to the global market and the next generation of guests, which are expected to revive, welcome a diverse range of customers, and build a chain network with high brand power and profitability.
