    TOKYU HOTELS has introduced a "Green Coin System" in consideration of global environmental protection.
    The Green Coin system means that if a guest does not use the eligible amenities at the time of stay, they will bring the provided Green Coin to the front desk and use it as a fund for environmental conservation activities.
    By reducing the amount of toothbrushes and razors used in hotels every day, the aim is to reduce the burden on the global environment from those around us.

    We will donate funds equivalent to 37,918 Green Coins, the total number of which was collected between April 1, 2024 and March 31, 2025, to the Children's Forest Project and forest creation activities. This marks the 23rd time we have donated, and the total amount of donations is equivalent to 2,298,665 Green Coins.

    Green Coin Activities

    "Children's Forest" Project

    This program, mainly in the Asia-Pacific region, aims to foster a love of nature through the activity of children themselves planting and cultivating seedlings on school grounds and in adjacent areas, while promoting the greening of the earth.

    "TOKYU HOTELS Green Coin Forest"

    We are participating in "forestation activities" in Tanbayama Village, Yamanashi. Through volunteer work by local forestry businesses and employees, we are carrying out forest conservation activities to protect Tokyo's water sources.

    Sustainable Initiatives

     

    If you do not use any of the eligible amenities during your stay, please bring the provided Green Coins to the front desk to be used as a fund for environmental conservation activities.

     

    For consecutive nights, rooms will be cleaned and linen changed every 3 days. By minimizing linen changes, we contribute to reducing the burden on the global environment.

     

    We will introduce the sustainable initiatives of hotels across the country, such as participating in local festivals and events and reducing and recycling food, plastic, and other waste.
