National Treasure Matsue Castle
The symbol of Matsue
松江城は、別名『千鳥城』とも呼ばれ、築城から堀尾氏、京極氏、松平氏が歴代藩主として治めてきました。
明治に入り、廃城令が発令されると地元の有志によって、買戻し、保存されることとなりました。
松江の町のシンボルで、天守閣からは、城下の町並み、宍道湖、晴れた日には、鳥取県の大山も見ることができます。
また春には、桜の名所で多くの方がお花見に訪れます。
