    The third release of TOKYU HOTELS original whisky was born with the concept of "being close to customers and creating moments that fulfill their hearts." By blending and further maturing three spirits aged on Yakushima, a warm, humid island surrounded by the sea, a unique flavor is created.

    "Tsunuki 2020" has a smoky character, "Komagatake 2019" is elegant and fruity, and "Komagatake 2021" has a milky and creamy roundness.
    This blended malt, made from three different types of raw spirits, was aged on Yakushima Island, a warm, humid island surrounded by the sea, resulting in a vibrant character reminiscent of tropical fruits and a subtle minerality that evokes the ocean.

     

    "Sweet aromas like milk chocolate and milk caramel layer, combined with a floral aroma reminiscent of Ceylon tea. In the middle section, the solid depth brought by 'Tsunuki 2020' emerges, and in the latter half, nuances like the umami of the sea-style sea breeze typical of Yakushima aging emerge. The finish is very soft."

    Mars Yakushima Aging Seller

    The Yakushima traditional brewery of Honbo Sake Brewery located in Anbo in eastern Yakushima. The Mars Yakushima Aging Cellar, a maturation and storage facility, was opened in 2016.
    Some of the base whisky from Mars Komagatake Distillery in Nagano and Mars Tsunuki Distillery in Kagoshima is brought here and matured.
