The original padlock features the hotel logo and an illustration of a bear, the main icon of LOCAL Local Piece the visual identity of "STREAM HOTEL." The Charm of Mt. Moiwa
Located almost in the center of Sapporo, Mount Moiwa offers a panoramic view of the magnificent Ishikari Plain from its summit, 531 meters above sea level. Its grandeur was so great that the Ainu people once called it "Inkarshipe" (the place where they always climb up to keep watch), and it was a mountain on which they kept watch.
Even today, from the observation deck at the summit, you can enjoy a 360-degree panoramic view of the cityscape with its skyscrapers and lush greenery, and the night view in particular is so beautiful that it has been selected three times as one of the "New Top Three Night Views in Japan." The city lights and illuminations of Sapporo shine under the clear Hokkaido sky. They look beautiful in photos, but their sparkling, jewel-like appearance looks even more vivid when viewed from the dignified air of the summit, delivering even more excitement and emotion to us.

Depending on the weather, you may not be able to see the view from the observation deck. Please check the live video from the summit on the official Mt. Moiwa website in advance.

When it is crowded, it may take some time to board the ropeway or mini cable car.

Get off at the "Ropeway Entrance" stop (approximately 20 minutes from Susukino Station)

From the "Ropeway Entrance" bus stop, walk for about 10 minutes to "Mount Moiwa Ropeway Base Station"
*If walking, please follow the signs (there is a slight uphill slope to the ropeway station).
*A free shuttle bus runs from the bus stop every 15 minutes.
*The free shuttle bus operates from 17:15 on weekdays and from 10:15 on weekends and holidays (10:45 in winter). Please check the timetable for details.
By taxi
It takes about 15 to 20 minutes from Susukino Station to the Iwayama Ropeway entrance, making it a comfortable way to get there. It is a particularly convenient way to get there if you want to enjoy the night view or if the weather is bad.
