Kokusai Street

Naha's largest downtown area

Kokusai-dori, which stretches for about 1.6 km from the Palette Kumoji intersection to the Asato three-way intersection, is the busiest street in Okinawa and the largest downtown area in Naha. It is also called the "Miracle Mile" because it has undergone remarkable development from the burnt ruins after the war, covering a distance of almost one mile.
