A luxurious afternoon tea experience blending tea ceremony culture with traditional Japanese sweets.
In Matsue City, the "Tea Ceremony Day" is established to commemorate the death anniversary of Matsudaira Harusato (Fumai-kō), the seventh lord of the Matsue Domain and a tea master.
Matsue, where the tea ceremony culture nurtured by Fumaigong still lives on in daily life.
To let you experience this culture, we offer seasonal wagashi from a long-established local confectionery shop, as well as Shine Muscat grapes that are in season.
We have prepared hotel-made sweets that take center stage, as well as Japanese and Western savory dishes featuring ingredients from Shimane.
Shine Muscat, known for its juicy fruit sweetness and refined taste, is a seasonal delicacy unique to this time of year.
We offer a special moment where you can experience the cherished spirit of 'cherishing the seasons' cherished by tea ceremony culture, along with seasonal flavors.

In Matsue, where the culture of the tea ceremony is deeply ingrained in daily life, Japanese sweets are also an important part of enjoying the seasons.
This afternoon tea will feature seasonal Japanese sweets from Saiundo in August and Saneido in September.
You can enjoy the seasonal colors and charm expressed by each long-established shop, month by month.
◆Two mangoes to enjoy their rich aroma
The "Crème Brûlée French Toast," which is finished right in front of you, is characterized by its rich sweetness and fragrant aroma.

Furthermore, the scones are served with a confiture made from mini mangoes grown in Miyako Island.
Two types of mango, each with a different aroma and sweetness, evoke the lingering feeling of summer.
