This afternoon tea features matcha and sesame as the main ingredients, creating a lineup of Japanese flavors. Enjoy petit fours that showcase the contrasting textures and layering of ingredients, such as glass desserts that highlight the unique characteristics of white and black sesame, and a matcha cake with a design reminiscent of a Japanese dry landscape garden. For the savory items, we have created a composition that balances the subtle bitterness of matcha and the richness of sesame with saltiness and has a light texture. Furthermore, the seasonal scones, layered with black sesame paste and red bean paste, are served with mitarashi sauce that enhances the aroma of sesame. You can enjoy a depth of flavor, with each item displaying a different expression while weaving in Japanese nuances.
