Shigeyama Chuzaburo's Kyogen Class Kyoto "The ABCs of Peace" vol.11
A kyogen class by the fifth-generation Noh actor of the Okura school of kyogen, Shigeyama Chuzaburo. There will be lectures on topics such as "From the origins of kyogen to the present" and "Explanation of kyogen terminology", followed by two performances. You will experience kyogen, a traditional Japanese performing art that has continued unbroken for over 600 years, and gain an understanding of kyogen, while also enjoying the kyogen and laughing a lot.
