Please note that due to Osaka regulations, from January 1, 2017 onwards, an accommodation tax will be charged according to the accommodation fee.
In addition, due to a partial revision of the Accommodation Tax Ordinance, there will be a change in the taxable accommodation fee for stays from September 1, 2025.

Summary of partial amendment to the Accommodation Tax Ordinance
Starting September 1, 2025, the accommodation tax will be reduced from the current 7,000 yen or more to 5,000 yen or more.
Until August 31, 2025, the tax will be levied on accommodation fees of 7,000 yen or more per person per night.
