The Towers Salon, a sky banquet floor 145 meters above ground, is renovated.

The first complete renovation since the hotel opened, with a design themed around the sun, moon and sky to create a new experience

It will be reborn in September 2025 as a luxurious guest facility in Shibuya that will attract attention from around the world.

Since the hotel opened in 2001, the Sky Banquet Floor "Towers Salon" has been highly praised for its magnificent panoramic view from the 39th floor, 145 meters above ground, high-quality cuisine, and warm hospitality. While the view from the window has changed with the times, it has provided many customers with smiles and unforgettable moments.
Now, 24 years after its opening, we have decided to completely renovate our sky banquet floor, the Towers Salon, in order to evolve into a space of even higher quality that can accommodate a wide range of diverse needs.

In keeping with the concept at the time of opening, the renovation has seen the entire floor redesigned with celestial themes such as "sun," "moon," and "sky." In addition, by adding bar counters and curio cases to the foyer, corridors, and other spaces outside the venue to unify the design of the entire floor, the banquet rooms can be connected to create a space that can be used as a single unit to meet the needs of MICE, corporate events, and weddings.

Design Concept

The "Cerulean" in the hotel's name comes from the color of the blue sky. The banquet rooms on the 39th floor were named "Lunare (Moon)," "Solare (Sun)," and "Celeste (Sky)" after the heavens, with the desire to be a hub of international exchange that connects Japan with the world globally, just as people around the world share the sky. To embody this desire at the time of opening, the sparkle of the sun and moon will be expressed through the distinctive lighting and design of the walls and ceilings. The elegant layout, which makes extensive use of wood, and the installation of a bar counter and curio cases will give the design a sense of elegance as a guest facility.

Renewal details

"Lunare" (190㎡)

This is the largest venue on this floor, offering an urban view of Shibuya Station and the Shinjuku area. Based on white and silver tones that embody the "silent beauty" of the moon, hanging art from the ceiling that evokes the light of the moon reflecting the sunlight, and bracket lights that evoke the phases of the moon serve as symbols of the space, creating a sense of brilliance and the passage of time.
A large LED display embedded in the wall expands the range of presentation possibilities.

"Solare" (135m2)

Facing the south side, this is a bright and lively banquet space that exudes strong energy from the sun. The ceiling lights and bracket lights are symbols that evoke the overwhelming power of pouring sunlight.
A large recessed LED display will be installed on the wall.

"Celeste" (100m2)

A small banquet room with a raised ceiling and symbolically suspended pendant lights reminiscent of clouds floating in the sky. It can be connected to Lunare foyer and used as one unit. The walls are lined with a series of curio cases capable of displaying art and other items, creating a luxurious feel. Combined with the cases on the corridor side, the room can be used in a variety of ways, such as taking over the entire floor for product displays.

"Foyer" (100m2)

A new bar counter has been installed in the foyer connecting Lunare and Celeste. As a base for serving welcome drinks and meals, it will be used in conjunction with the banquet rooms. The layout has been designed so that the bar counter can be seen from both Celeste and Lunare, enhancing its connection with the venue.

Usage scenario ① "Product launch"

The venues can be used according to purpose, with "Lunare" as the main product announcement venue, "Foyer" for serving drinks during breaks, and "Celeste" as a space for individual business meetings.

Usage scenario ② "Buffet party"

Until now, the largest room, "Lunare," could accommodate up to 100 people, but by connecting it to "Foyer" and "Celeste," it will be possible to accommodate buffet parties for up to 150 people or more.
