What is "Ma Chere Mer Bansyo"?

In front of the hotel spreads out the sparkling Nattier blue sea, Oura and Nabetahama Beach.

At the end of the Edo period, the area around the hotel was a sea checkpoint known as a "bansho" (guard station) due to its commanding views. The restaurant's name, "Bansho," comes from the important role the area played as the gateway to Edo.
Also, Ma Cher Mer in French means "my favourite sea".
We named this restaurant "Ma Cher Mer Bansho" with the hope that you will be able to enjoy both French and Japanese cuisine made with ingredients from the beautiful gifts of the sea.
