Chinese Restaurant Star Hill won the "BEST Society Award" in the social category
On Monday, November 17, 2025, Chinese Restaurant Star Hill won the "BEST Society Award" in the social category at the "FOOD MADE GOOD JAPAN Awards 2025" hosted by the Japan Sustainable Restaurant Association (SRA Japan).
At the THE CAPITOL HOTEL TOKYU, which was the venue, Executive Chef Sogabe provided a menu that takes into account sustainability.

Future Recipe Contest
Selected as a finalist
A recipe contest for the future was held under the theme of "Plant-based/Better Meat" for young chefs and students at culinary and confectionery hygiene training facilities from across the country. From the many applications, 10 finalists were selected for their highly creative and promising proposals. Of these, two staff members from our hotel were named as final finalists.

This dish uses every last bit of Hinai Jidori chicken and is prepared using Chinese cooking techniques. The recipe is made with consideration for sustainability and animal welfare.

All ingredients other than venison are plant-based and organic vegetables, and the dish is made with venison and plant-based ingredients in consideration of the local area and the environment, with a lot of thought put into each small bite.
The awards are open to SRA member restaurants that have received high scores in the FOOD MADE GOOD Standard, a global standard evaluation index for the restaurant and hospitality industry promoted by the Sustainable Restaurant Association (SRA Japan/headquarters: UK). The Grand Prize and category awards (Sourcing, Social, and Environmental) are selected by a panel of judges.
