Approximately 800 Kawazu cherry trees are planted along the Aono River, which flows through Minamiizu Town, the southernmost tip of the Izu Peninsula.
The rows of cherry blossom trees stretch for about two kilometers and are at their best from mid-February to early March.
Additionally, rapeseed flowers have been planted on the banks and fallow fields, painting the entire area a vibrant yellow.
