Regarding the section of the city road Ushima-Oura Line (Wakanoura Promenade),
The road is closed due to a rockfall that occurred in the early hours of January 2, 2026.
As there are concerns about further rockfalls in the future, the restrictions will not be lifted until safety can be ensured.
We will update the website again once we have an idea of when the service will be restored.

Due to construction work on the promenade, it will be impossible to pass through.
This is a scenic promenade that connects the bottom of the hill from the hotel to Shimoda Aquarium, but during this period please use the public road (roadway).
