Approximately 3 million hydrangeas bloom in Shimoda Park (Shimoda Castle Ruins Park), which is said to be the largest number in Japan.
At the Shimoda Hydrangea Festival, which will be held from June 1st (Sun) to June 30th (Mon), you can enjoy the spectacular hydrangea tunnel and waterfall hydrangeas.
The "Minato Hydrangeas" blooming with the harbor in the background are a typical Shimoda scene.
