This is a bus tour package available only on June 12th (Friday).
The tour begins with a bus ride from the hotel to Shimoda Hydrangea Garden, Japan's largest hydrangea garden boasting 3 million blooming flowers.
After our stroll, we will listen to a lecture at Ryōsenji Temple, which laid the foundation for Japan's opening to the world.
How did the residents of Shimoda feel about Perry and his entourage, who came to conclude the Treaty of Shimoda between Japan and the United States?
Along with Japanese paintings depicting that era, the anecdotes that you won't find in history textbooks are a must-listen.
