This year marks the 25th anniversary of the popular annual performance "Mansai in Cerulean Tower." A hallmark of this performance is the opening commentary by Mansai Nomura himself. In the relaxed atmosphere of a small theater, he will review the past year's activities and provide commentary on the program. Following the komai dance, the kyogen plays are "Nagamitsu" (starring Hiroki Nomura), in which a thief from the capital tries to steal Nagamitsu's sword from a country bumpkin, resulting in a dispute. When an arbitrator asks for its details, the thief attempts to respond by imitating the country bumpkin's story. And "Sakuka" (starring Mansai Nomura), in which the lord of the capital orders Tarokaja to call his uncle in the capital to ask for a renga master. However, not knowing who his uncle is, he mistakes a swindler for the master and takes him home, causing a commotion.
